Why Get Involved ?
There is only one reason to get involved - 'Your Child'. Studies have shown kids of involved parents thrive in school and life. The most important influence in your child's life right now is YOU! Kids spend a majority of their time at school. You will be amazed to learn a few new things about them by just being in school. Some ways to participate are volunteering, donating to improve their educational experience, show school spirit with spirit wear and staying connected about school activities through Facebook, website and newsletters.
Your presence at school is one way to show your love and encouragement, as well as increase your student's self esteem. "I will wait to see if they need me" are famous words we think on a constant basis. Imagine the message this gives to your child, it's a message that their educational experience lacks your priority. Sure, we are all busy, but if we all do a little bit, then the joy is shared with everyone.
We invite you to come to school to volunteer your time. We will value you as a volunteer, and appreciate your dedication to the children as a supportive aide, role model, and mentor.
